Dorothy The Camper Van

Just thought I'd add this for fun about our friends camper van.

Dorothy is a 1962 Split Screen Volkswagen Camper Van, she was saved from a field and has now been restored to working order. Dorothy has visited us three times already and on the third time misbehaved quite badly! she did however make it home in her own time and in one piece. I know that Dorothy is just a piece of metal, but it brings back memories for people that either had a camper van no matter what the year or they're reminiscing about the sixties (if they can remember them!). She's on the road again

22/10/08 Dorothy doesn't have heating yet so to de mist the windscreen Peter has bought himself a little fan heater!, with the cold weather coming up I really think insulated gloves woolly hat and a flask of tea would be better but that's our Dorothy keeping you on your toes even if you can't feel them.
